Basement Remodel & Laundry Addition

This project was such a treat! The home was built in 1921 and is located in Boise’s North End historic district. We were brought on to add a laundry room to the home and to transform the basement into a guest bedroom and bathroom where the homeowner’s family and friends would be welcome guests and have a lovely stay. The rest of the home was truly already magazine worthy so it was an honor to take on this project and enhance the features. The basement went from being a dim storage and laundry area that you probably wouldn’t want to spend much time in, to being a beautiful space that perfectly complements the rest of the home. The laundry room addition features original windows that we left between the kitchen and new laundry area, an adorable Dutch door, and plenty of natural light.
